With its innovative technology and strong market demand, Hysata aims to become the leading global electrolyser provider, scaling to multi-gigawatt manufacturing and significantly reducing global emissions.About The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Electrical / Instrument Technician to lead the design, construction, and commissioning of control and automation panels across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has experience as an electrician or instrument technician in an industrial setting, with familiarity in SCADA systems, industrial networks, and PLC programming being advantageous.Role ResponsibilitiesDesign and build electrical control panels internally and with external partners;Manage interfacing with electrical and control construction vendors;Supervise team members involved in manufacturing and modifying control panels;Troubleshoot and optimize control and electrical systems on test and pilot plants;Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for technical challenges; andDefine and execute validation plans in collaboration with the team.What You'll BringLicensed Electrician in NSW;Diploma or Certificate IV in Electrical / Instrument Technology;Experience working in an industrial environment;Strong knowledge of PLC-based control systems;Excellent communication skills;Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team;Adaptability in a fast-paced environment;Flexible working hours to meet project needs; andExperience with electrolysers, batteries, or energy storage systems is a plus.What We OfferPerks include (but are not limited to):Idyllic beachside location;Stock options;Salary sacrifice into superannuation;Flexible working conditions;Recognition of service;Wellness allowance;EAP through Sonder;Novated leasing;Employee discount program through Flare; andAn awesome work environment and team!If you don’t meet every criterion, don’t rule yourself out.
