We have a new opportunity based onsite at our head office in Welshpool, Western Australia.
We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our team.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Completion of daily mechanical maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan as directed by the Mechanical Supervisor.
- Troubleshoot machine components to determine causes of failures when required, including gathering of failure evidence for later analysis.
- Provide information and experience to assistants in their duties.
- Participate in special projects whenever required.
- Maintain punctuality at all times.
- Ensure parts are used properly within the work order task descriptions as intended.
- Ensure that on completion of repair, all parts removed are cleaned and tagged with information tags noting the associated work order details.
- Ensure all company tools are returned to the proper area (e.g. tool cabinets, tool storage areas) after use on a daily basis.
- Ensure that the surrounding work area and workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state.
- Raise improvement opportunity ideas with Mechanical Supervisor or Maintenance & Engineering Manager.

**TASOCS **manufacture all Heat Transfer Equipment to strict and exacting tolerances, maintaining the reliability and efficiency of the unit even under adverse operating conditions.
**Experience and Competency**:
- Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical Fitter (must be Australian recognised) preferred or minimum 5 years' mechanical experience.
- Marine Maintenance would be advantageous.
- Previous Heat Exchanger experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work well in a team in remote areas.
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality.
- Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude.

- Root Cause Analysis experience.
- MS Office skills highly regarded.
- Current WA Driver's license.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
