Join Our Youth Leadership Team
Role: Youth Leadership Team Member
Commitment: A couple of hours a week, plus occasional adventurous or community-based activities, such as ANZAC service and weekend camp.
Help shape confident, capable youth through hands‑on learning and teamwork. Support young people as they explore nature, build resilience, and lead their own adventures.
As part of the team, you might help plan outdoor excursions, mentor small groups, facilitate creative activities, or assist with community events.
Your mission:
* Support youth in running their program
* Share updates with parents
* Encourage leadership and engagement
* Help make activities fun, safe, and meaningful
No experience needed
We provide full training, mentoring, and a strong support network. We welcome team members from all backgrounds. Your unique skills and life experience enrich our group. Whether you're a creative thinker, organiser, facilitator, or simply keen to connect with nature and community, there's a place for you.
This is also a great opportunity for young adults pursuing Outdoor Education to gain real‑world experience in supporting adventurous activities and fostering real youth leadership. Or perhaps you were once a youth member and would like to share in those experiences again.
Two traits we value most:
* A willingness to learn and share
* A passion for empowering youth
