Our client URGENTLY requires an ETCS Systems Integration Director for a 24 months + Contract in Brisbane.
The ETCS System Integration (SI) Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for the successful delivery of the System Integration function for the Sector I North (S1N) program. You will oversee a multidisciplinary SI team, ensuring performance, accountability, and delivery, while serving as the primary focal point for both internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Experience required includes:
* Extensive experience (15+ years) in the Australian railway industry, ideally with direct involvement in ETCS or other large-scale rail technology/system and signalling projects.
* Proven experience in a Project Director or Technical Director capacity, leading large, complex, multidisciplinary rail systems projects.
* Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle and in the application of systems assurance and RAMS processes in complex projects.
* Proven experience in leading or working within Engineering or Systems Integration teams, and deep technical understanding of rail systems integration, including signalling, communications, and safety assurance practices.
Government experience would be highly advantageous.
