This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and providing operational leadership in the delivery of healthcare services.
* Lead a team of nurses to provide high-quality patient care and support the development of nursing practice.
* Work closely with senior staff to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles.
You will need to have:
* Demonstrated clinical experience in the relevant practice area, with the capacity to provide clinical leadership and exercise professional judgment.
* A strong understanding of patient flow principles and discharge planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Experience working in a correctional setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
