We're on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our busy construction team.

Barden Constructions is a trusted local builder based in Ballina, NSW. We specialise in insurance building works servicing residential, commercial and government clients across the Northern Rivers and greater NSW region. With over seven years of experience, our team is known for quality workmanship, fast turnaround times and clear, honest communication. From urgent make-safes to full rebuilds, we work closely with insurers and clients to deliver reliable outcomes - often during challenging circumstances.

About the role

Providing a wide range of admin support to the team, key tasks will include:

* Manage job files and project documentation
* Draft professional emails to clients, subcontractors and insurers
* Liaise with clients, insurance companies and team members
* Maintain accurate records and assist with job tracking
* Assist with scheduling, project timelines and workflow coordination
* Data entry and basic financial administration
* Maintain up to date compliance and quoting document templates
* Provide general admin support to the director and wider team

What are we looking for:

Ideally you'll have some exposure to the insurance or construction industries, particularly insurance building administration, but above all we're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.

Must-Haves:

* Confident communication with good written English
* Ability to manage digital documents and cloud-based systems (Google Drive, Gmail, etc)
* Detail-focused and organised
* Reliable, self-motivated and ready to learn

Nice-to-Haves:

* Previous experience in insurance building or construction admin
* Familiarity with Xero, quoting tools or building contracts
* Experience with Crunchwork (helpful but not essential)
