We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our dispatch team. This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly and energetic individual who can provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves answering incoming telephone calls, quoting customers, and assisting with enquiries. You will also be responsible for tracking fleet on GPS software, providing eta's to customers, and liaising with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information to complete their jobs.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have prior experience in transport and logistics. You will also need to have high level computer literacy and be able to learn our custom software quickly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries
* Quoting customers and providing them with estimated times of arrival (eta's)
* Tracking fleet on GPS software and providing updates to customers
* Liaising with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information to complete their jobs
* Invoicing and taking payments for jobs booked
**Requirements:**
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
* Prior experience in transport and logistics
* High level computer literacy and ability to learn custom software
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
