About the Role
Territory Sales Manager (Customer Development Manager) reporting to a Channel Manager, collaborating with NAPA Branch Managers to build and maintain successful business relationships with trade customers in their territory. The role focuses on proactive solution selling, achieving sales and gross margin targets, and driving business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain customer relationships to solve problems through consultation and needs assessment.
- Own the sales and gross margin performance of the assigned territory.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and training sessions.
- Achieve sales budgets and develop new business opportunities (account management and business development).
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring safe driving and workplace safety.
- Perform lifting, bending, climbing, and safe driving as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Track record in account management or business development.
- Experience in a KPI driven environment.
- Sales and/or customer management experience (automotive industry preferred).
- Ability to liaise and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Proficient with CRM systems.
- Valid Australian driver's licence.
- Passion for automotive.
