Our IRAP‑assessed Private Data Network (PDN) is the market leader in securing data in motion, and due to strong growth locally and globally, we’re expanding.
We’re seeking a motivated, partner‑focused Cybersecurity Account Executive with 5+ years of experience selling to C‑level, Director, and VP buyers. The ideal candidate has a proven sales methodology, strong closing skills, and deep knowledge of third‑party risk management, data privacy, secure file transfer, network infrastructure, and compliance. This new role reports to our Sydney‑based APAC Managing Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing both current logo opportunities and upsell opportunities within our installed base.
The focus will be working with mid‑size corporate and government organisations across Australia.

Job Requirements
- 4‑year degree preferred or equivalent experience.

- Technically competent and experienced with data protection technologies.
- Experience in opportunity creation and the challenges of building a business.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software sales.
- Experience selling enterprise security software and cloud services; cloud‑enabled file‑sharing solutions is a plus.
- Resilience, flexibility and readiness to travel frequently.
- The role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney metro areas.
- A suitable home office space is required as the role will be remote.
- Creative thinking and problem‑solving. Strong human and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Can operate with a high degree of independence within agreed policies, targets, and budgets.
- This role will suit a hands‑on self‑starter who likes to get things done.
- You will enjoy working flexibly and collaboratively in a small team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead sales strategies and team efforts into targeted accounts.
- Sell to key stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, IT execs, LOB execs.
- Prospect new business leveraging Partners, sales and marketing resources.
- Upsell and expanding relationships across the existing customer base.
- Meet/exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Create value for customers and utilize a solution approach to selling.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources.
- Use sales tools including SFDC to track activities and manage your business.
- Create predictable, credible forecasting and sales process.
