About the Role
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering leading maintenance services across South East Queensland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring duties are performed in line with HSE programs. This includes providing electrical/instrumentation services related to the operation, maintenance, refurbishment and augmentation of mechanical and civil assets.
You will provide technical advice and support, participate in planning and coordination of preventative maintenance activities, and deliver against contract KPIs and business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the team in safe and efficient project execution
* Identifying resource requirements for project works and sourcing resources as needed
* Contributing to asset management system efficiency by understanding asset scope, function, and nature
* Working within relevant permit systems and developing Safe Work Method Statements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Trade qualification as an Electrician or equivalent trade
* Dual Trade qualification in instrumentation is highly regarded
* HV switching and EEHA Hazardous area qualifications are also highly regarded
* Previous water industry experience is desirable

Develop and implement Safe Work Method Statements and adhere to relevant permit systems.
