About the Role
Based in Kewdale, Lyons Airconditioning is the largest independent auto electrical wholesaler in Western Australia, servicing the Mining, Transport, and Civil Engineering sectors since 1985.
We are seeking casual employees for 3-4 months to work in our warehouse and assist experienced Trade Assistants. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in picking, packing, receipting of goods, dispatching, and maintaining the organisation of the warehouse, along with supporting our technicians.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain warehousing experience and assist tradesmen. The role could become permanent for promising and dedicated employees interested in building a career with us.
Our ideal applicant will have:
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
* A strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Physically fit and capable
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Solid computer skills for data entry and clerical tasks
* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and organisation skills
* Experience with inventory management and stock takes (preferred)
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to Work Health and Safety
* Current forklift ticket with loading/unloading experience
* Valid driver's license
