About your role As a Clinical Nurse, you will work autonomously to deliver specialist nursing care while providing leadership, education and support to staff across Canaipa Ward. Key responsibilities: * Deliver advanced, comprehensive and person-centred nursing care for complex patients. * Provide clinical leadership, decision-making and coordination of patient care. * Support and supervise nursing staff, students and assistants through effective delegation. * Contribute to ward portfolios including clinical practice, education, research and safety. * Participate in quality improvement, audits, risk management and service development. * Support operational and leadership activities in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager. About you You are an experienced and confident clinician who thrives in complex clinical environments and enjoys leading best practice nursing care. You will bring: * Advanced clinical knowledge in acute, sub-acute, cardiac or stroke nursing care. * Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills. * Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support nursing staff and students. * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. * Confidence using EMR systems and managing care in high-acuity settings. * Postgraduate qualification or enrolment in, as well as Advanced Life Support certification (highly desirable).
