Job Description
Our client is an expanding Asbestos Consultancy that provides asbestos surveying, asbestos sampling and other services to a mixed portfolio of clients, and due to current business needs they are seeking a high calibre and enthusiastic Asbestos Operations Manager to head their asbestos department in the South East, applications will be considered from London, Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong technical, surveying, office management, consultancy and asbestos background.
* Must hold the P402 certificate as a minimum and have significant experience working in Operations Manager role within the asbestos industry.
* Good knowledge of the asbestos industry.
* Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
* Overseeing administrative staff and ensuring contract operations are coordinated with clients and carried out effectively in accordance with site operations and company procedures.
* Managing invoices, maintaining personnel records using the database and spreadsheets.
* Managing staff on site and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.
* Producing method statements, risk assessment and associated site paperwork.
* Assisting with tenders and quotations.
* Getting involved with audits – improving quality and achieving satisfaction from clients, customers and staff.
* Ensuring projects completed within the time scale.
* Managing existing and new contracts effectively.
* Establishing and maintaining good relationships with the company's large portfolio of clients.
* Developing new business leads and taking the business to the next level.
* Commercially focused with ability to deliver good commercial results.
* Strong people, client management, project management, communication, presentation, and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
