Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our construction operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines. They will also possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial aspects of construction operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Manage a small team of finance professionals and develop a close working relationship with construction managers and estimators
- Review and develop internal controls and processes around job estimating work-in-progress cost management and progress claims
- Assist operational teams with tender submission requirements and project managers with analyzing job variances and future improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role and industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and other MS Office skills
