 
        
        Expert Clinical Audiologist Required
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our team on a permanent part-time (3 days) basis. This role involves working a fixed roster from Monday to Friday, 9:30am–5:00pm.
You will work in a supportive, patient-centred environment across two locations, with plenty of opportunities to grow your expertise and make a real difference for our clients.
As a Clinical Audiologist, you will assess and diagnose the extent of client hearing loss using a wide range of techniques, including audiometric tests.
You will report results of assessments and tests in writing and make referrals to medical practitioners.
You will also recommend solutions to those with hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices. You will provide aural rehabilitation programs.
In addition, you will provide counselling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment.
You will assist with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
Finally, you will provide treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age-related, part of a disability, or acquired as a result of injury or disease.
 * A University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification is required.
 * Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud is also necessary.
 * A current QP number is required.
Solid audiological skills and knowledge are essential, along with excellent levels of customer care and service.
Ability to learn and understand new software with training is also necessary.
Proven ability to achieve KPIs is required.
Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Commitment to continued professional development is also necessary.
Good team-working skills are required.
Finally, ability to network with GPs and other allied health professionals is necessary.
