About the Role
An exclusive chance exists for a General Manager - Corporate Real Estate to lead the strategy and performance of a national portfolio of owned and leased assets valued at over $700 million, within a major ASX listed business recently recording record results. Reporting directly to the CFO, this executive role is accountable for optimising the company's physical footprint, overseeing property strategy, facilities operations, major transactions, and workplace transformation. You will lead senior property and facilities functions nationally, ensuring commercial value, operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead national property strategy including acquisitions, leasing, development, and divestment, best use.
* Advise executive leadership on portfolio optimisation and market strategy.
* Oversee facilities management across corporate and operational sites.
* Ensure compliance with safety, building, and environmental standards.
* Manage significant CAPEX and OPEX budgets with strong commercial discipline.
* Lead major fit-outs, refurbishments, and workplace transformation initiatives.
* Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and contemporary workplace outcomes.
What We're Looking For
* 10+ years' senior leadership experience in property and/or facilities within a large corporate setting who own and hold leasehold assets in their portfolio.
* Proven track record managing national portfolios and understanding best use.
* Solid experience in major transactions, lease negotiations, and capital projects.
* Experience across office and/or industrial assets highly desirable.
* Highly developed commercial, financial, and stakeholder management capability.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications; postgraduate study highly regarded.
