Base Salary
HEO5 $89,755 - $100,495 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation.
About the Opportunity
The Centre for Continuing Education team is seeking a highly motivated
Administrative Officer
to provide high-level administrative and customer service support. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
As the first point of contact for students, facilitators, and visitors, you will deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will also take ownership of course scheduling, facilitator engagement, and reporting tasks to support the team's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver onsite administrative services via phone, email, and in person, ensuring professional and timely support is provided to staff, facilitators, students, clients, and visitors.
Coordinate course planning and scheduling, liaising with facilitators and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to reporting, and compile and maintain accurate data for compliance purposes.
Provide detailed advice, guidance, and information to students about CCE's course offerings, ranging from providing course-specific information to making recommendations regarding the suitability of specific courses.
Liaise with debtors and creditors to ensure there are no overdue payments.
Support the setup and maintenance of teaching spaces and respond to facilities requests.
About You
We seek an
Administrative Officer
who has:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
Proven ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision.
Strong numeracy and computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
Two to four years of administrative experience in a busy, client-facing environment.
The ability to work on campus in an office-based role, providing in-person support to students, facilitators, and visitors.
