The Role:

This role is responsible for performing risk and control assessments, collaborating with business stakeholders to develop risk management strategies, and maintaining oversight of governance, risk, and compliance tools.

Key Responsibilities:

* Risk and Control Assessments: Perform risk and control assessments to identify weaknesses and inefficiencies, and work with management to develop action plans for improvements.
* Risk Management Strategies: Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies, prioritizing risk mitigation efforts.
* Governance, Risk, and Compliance Tools: Maintain oversight of governance, risk, and compliance tools to ensure data quality and completeness, and assist with monitoring and reporting.
* Stakeholder Partnerships: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, including SMEs, to gain an in-depth understanding of business processes and provide trusted advisory services.
* Control Testing: Execute control testing and work with colleagues to improve the control environment and approach to testing.

Requirements:
">
* Experience in line 1 or 2 Risk and Audit functions in Financial Services or first-tier consulting firms.
* Designing and testing controls through internal control assurance, regulatory, and/or internal audits.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and manage a wide variety of stakeholders, specifically in a line 1 or line 2 risk management role.
* Planning, collation, aggregation, and facilitation of information and reporting (e.g., risk assessments, control testing).
* Gained experience in root cause analysis and critical thinking.

* Experience interacting with Executive Management.
* Exposure to risk transformation or regulatory remediation programs.
