The Position
As a result of recent growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hard‐working individual to join our Vehicle Processing Team at our brand‐new facility in Forrestdale. As a Yard Hand, you will enjoy a variety of tasks in preparing new vehicles for delivery, including fitting aftermarket accessories, checking vehicles for damage, completing storage preservation activities and other general yard duties. What You Will Do
* Inspection of vehicles to identify damage and missing parts or accessories
* Fit automotive accessories
* Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
* Undertake vehicle survey and preservation tasks
* Complete associated documentation
What You Will Bring
* Driver licence (minimum 3 years) essential
* Strong attention to detail & safety first mindset
* Understanding of working of parts and components
* Experience in the use of hand and power tools
* Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Ability to lift/handle automotive parts (sports bars, bumper bars etc.)
Nice To Have
* Experience in vehicle accessory fitments
* Mechanical/electrical aptitude advantageous
* Current MSIC card
