Cross Country Consultancy is seeking two skilled Upholsterers to join our manufacturing team in Perth. We are looking for dedicated professionals who possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Job Responsibilities:
* Fabricate, assemble, and repair various upholstered products.
* Select and cut fabrics, foams, and other materials according to specifications.
* Measure, cut, and sew fabrics, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
* Install padding, springs, and upholstery items with care to achieve a professional finish.
* Examine and repair damaged upholstery, ensuring quality standards are met.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and clean work areas regularly.
* Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals.
* Adhere to safety protocols and health regulations throughout the manufacturing process.
Essential Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role.
* Knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
* Strong sewing skills, with an ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Attention to detail and a passion for quality workmanship.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Desired Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in upholstery or a related field.
* Experience in custom upholstery work is highly advantageous.
* Familiarity with different types of upholstery materials and their appropriate uses.
Salary & Benefits:
The annual salary for this role ranges from $74,000 to $85,000 AUD
* An IELTS score of 5.0 in each section is required.
