About the Role
Ceylon Harmony Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Lola Restaurant.
This is a full-time role suited to an all-round Chef de Partie with strong pastry and bakery knowledge, who is also confident working across hot kitchen sections during service. The successful candidate will support senior chefs, maintain consistency and quality, and contribute to efficient day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menu specifications and quality standards
* Take responsibility for assigned sections, including pastry, bakery, and hot sections as required
* Produce desserts, baked goods, doughs, and pastry items to a consistent standard
* Assist with daily kitchen preparation, service execution, and workflow efficiency
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards at all times
* Assist with stock control, ordering, correct storage, and waste minimisation
* Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and care of kitchen equipment
* Support and assist senior chefs with training and supervision of junior staff
* Accommodate dietary requirements and special requests where required

Key Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role
* Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on pastry and bakery experience with demonstrated proficiency in desserts, doughs, and baked items
* Ability to work confidently across hot kitchen sections
* Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen compliance standards
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a team environment
* Good time management and attention to detail
* Relevant trade qualification (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience preferred
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
