What We're Looking For
- Full‐time commitment – Monday to Friday
- Optical experience preferred but not essential; health‐related background welcomed
- Someone who takes pride in helping patients find eyewear they'll "fall in love with"
- Detail‐oriented individual with excellent customer‐service skills
- Passion for using the latest technology to enhance patient care
The Role
- Patient Care – Help patients select designer frames and explain how different lenses will impact their vision
- Dispensing Services – Frame fitting, adjustments, and ensuring optimal comfort and vision
- Administrative Tasks – Manage appointment bookings, patient records, and follow‐up communications
- Computer Systems – Use practice‐management software for scheduling, billing, and maintaining accurate patient databases
- Reception Duties – Greet patients, handle phone inquiries, and manage day‐to‐day front‐desk operations
- Insurance Processing – Handle Medicare claims and health‐fund rebates
- Inventory Management – Assist with frame displays, stock monitoring, and ordering
- Support our Optometrist – Prepare patients for consultations and assist with clinical administration
