What we do

The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) was established in 1995 and is the largest tertiary admissions centre in Australia. Owned by universities in NSW and the ACT, UAC's mission is to provide excellence in admissions services, including the calculation of the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

Our Corporate Finance department is an integral part of UAC's operations providing specialised support to UAC's Board, Executive and staff, ensuring that UAC's financial resourcing and objectives align with the organisation's strategic objectives and contribute to its overall success.

We're now looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to contribute to UAC's success.

About the Role

UAC is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join the Corporate Finance department.

As a FP&A Manager, you are responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic financial support across the Admissions Centre. The role supports organisational sustainability by providing high-quality financial insights that inform service delivery, student application processing, technology investment, and stakeholder partnership decisions.

Working closely with executive leadership, institutional partners, and operational teams, the role ensures financial planning aligns with sector trends, regulatory requirements, and organisational strategy.


Desired Skills and Experience


About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

* Completion of a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline; and CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification; or an equivalent combination of extensive experience and/or education/training.
* Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capability.
* Experience supporting senior stakeholders with the ability to translate financial data into clear operational insights.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and operational teams.
* Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and financial integrity.
* Proven commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to link financial insights to organisational objectives.

Remuneration: The annual salary range is $164,630.84 – $173,704.09 pa (includes base salary plus 17% employer superannuation contribution and annual leave loading).
