Lead the day-to-day media operations for the Club's AFLW program

About the Role
As the Media and PR Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to support the growth and visibility of the Fremantle Dockers AFLW team. You will be the primary contact for all AFLW media enquiries and interview logistics. Working closely with players, coaches and football staff, you will ensure our talent is prepared, our messaging is aligned, and every media opportunity is delivered smoothly and professionally.
The scope of the role will include:
* Coordinate the AFLW weekly media schedule across interviews, features and digital opportunities
* Manage media enquiries from start to finish, with support from the Media & PR Manager when needed
* Prepare and support players and coaches for interviews with clear, practical briefings
* Plan and deliver media conferences and media moments, including logistics and timing
* Proactively pitching media opportunities for the AFLW program, exposing the brand to new
* Support Men's AFL and Club‐wide media activity when required
This role is available from 0.8 FTE up to full time. We are open to conversations about how hours are structured to suit your life, wellbeing and career stage. The role includes weekend work during the AFL and AFLW seasons and travel with the AFLW team during their season. We plan ahead and have rostered days off to support balance.

* A proactive approach to sharing stories and reaching new audiences
* A flexible and adaptable mindset
* A current, or willingness to obtain, Working with Children Check
