Leadership Role: We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead our Development Engineering team and drive transformational land development across the region. This is an opportunity to influence how Selwyn grows.
About the Team: You will be part of the wider Asset Management Leadership Team and manage up to five direct reports. As this is a newly set up role, you have the chance to build and shape the role according to your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a high-performing team responsible for reviewing and inspecting critical infrastructure projects
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with developers, internal teams, and community partners
* Drive transformational land development across the region through strategic planning and technical excellence
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in technical water, roading and open spaces planning functions and assessments
* Expertise in Land Development and Infrastructure
* Proven track record of developing and maintaining positive relationships across a broad range of sectors at a senior level
* Relevant Engineering qualification and Member of Engineering New Zealand
