The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a proactive and collaborative information management professional. You will have a central role in promoting and embedding best-practice information and records management at the RBA to reduce risk and improve efficiencies.
Within this role you will:
- Manage the lifecycle of the RBA's electronic corporate records from creation and use through to storage and disposal in the agency's centralised EDRMS, Content Manager (TRIM).- Lead the review and maintenance of the RBA's Business Classification Scheme (BCS) and Retention Authority (RA) in line with functional requirements.- Partner with owners of corporate business systems to provide advice on recordkeeping requirements and capture information management controls and functional requirements.- Support staff in the use of the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and other information management tools and platforms.- Collaborate closely with your team and broader Information Solutions function to align strategically on information management deliverables and engagements.- Contribute to the development and implementation of information and records management policies, procedures, guidelines, and training.- Monitor the ongoing effectiveness of the team's processes and engagement program, identifying opportunities for improvement or more in-depth stakeholder engagement.
Your background- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management or related field.- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of records management compliance requirements, including familiarity with the Archives Act 1983.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead stakeholder engagements.- Experience working with corporate record repositories and business systems (e.g. Content Manager, Microsoft 365) with an understanding of their functional information management compliance requirements.
