INTERIOR DESIGNER
Design & Build Recruitment
Are you a creative and technically adept interior designer with a passion for architecture and spatial storytelling? We're looking for someone just like you to join a multidisciplinary team and help shape meaningful, high-quality built environments.
What You'll Be Doing
Contribute to the interior design process from concept through to detailed documentation, ensuring designs are both beautiful and functional
Produce and coordinate Revit-based interior design models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and seamless integration with architectural and engineering workflows
Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and material boards
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, and contractors to coordinate design, resolve issues, and deliver to program
Oversee furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selection, specification, and procurement
Develop schematic, design development, and construction documentation stages
Participate in site inspections and support contract administration as needed
Stay current with materials, finishes, trends, and relevant regulations
What they're looking for
A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
Strong proficiency in Revit (modeling, documentation, and coordination)
Solid experience in commercial, multi-residential, or hospitality interiors
Excellent design skills, graphic presentation ability, and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and coordinate across disciplines
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Knowledge of Australian standards, building codes, and interior detailing
