Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Management Psychologist
The Department of Health in Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Management Psychologist to join our team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) team, providing quality psychological services including evidence-based assessments and interventions to clients and their families.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for children and adolescents.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and support to CYMHS clients.
* Develop and implement innovative assessment and intervention strategies to improve mental health outcomes for young people.
* Contribute to research projects and quality improvement initiatives within the CYMHS team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary Qualification:
* A tertiary qualification approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Registration:
* Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Endorsement:
* An area of practice endorsement as required for the role.
* Working with Children Registration:
* A current working with children registration.
