Opportunity:
We are looking for a Multimedia Designer to be joining our dynamic team at Moorebank 2170 NSW.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Multimedia Designer you will be responsible for planning, designing and developing digital and visual content that supports the company's branding and marketing efforts. This includes creating promotional content, preparing layouts and digital mock-ups by choosing appropriate media and materials, and working alongside other stakeholders to ensure the design brief meets communication objectives. As a multimedia designer we expect that you translate the brand identity into compelling visuals to support marketing, sales and client communications.
The main the tasks of a Recruitment Consultant are, but not limited to:
* Clarify and define the design brief by meeting with clients or internal stakeholders to understand what the design needs to achieve, and what constraints exist.
* Design digital and print marketing materials such as catalogues of uniform lines, promotional brochures, online ads, social media graphics, product images, and videos demonstrating uniform features or brand stories.
* Research and analyse communication needs by study what the audience or end-users need to see or receive, and evaluate what media will communicate best.
* Develop design concepts by creating ideas for visuals, layouts, illustrations, graphics, or multimedia content that convey the brand's identity and message.
* Manage digital asset library to keep up-to-date templates, design files, logos, and branding guidelines to enable efficient reorders, consistent branding across products, and flexible customisation for different clients.
* Participate in client consultations to help clients visualise how their brand will look on uniforms or promotional merchandise via mockups or digital renders, helping them decide colors, placement, materials, and design style.
* Prepare design assets by producing sketches, diagrams, illustrations, digital mock-ups, layouts and other preparatory materials to represent the design for clients or internal review.
* Select media and materials and make decisions about what media and what functional materials best suit the projects.
* Document and detail design specifications to prepare production-ready documentation and specifications in terms of colors, dimensions, file formats, and layout instructions.
* Oversee or carry out production by managing and executing the creation of final media such as print and digital, video, or other multimedia formats.
* Archive and manage design assets to maintain a stored, organised record of design files and assets that can be reused for future reorders or additional promotional materials.
* Design digital and print marketing materials such as catalogues of uniform lines, promotional brochures, online ads, social media graphics, product images, and videos demonstrating uniform features or brand stories.
Education and Previous Experience Required
* Tertiary education in Multimedia Design or co-related field.
* At least 2 years of full-time working experience in the same role or co-related roles.
Skills Required
* Strong creative thinking and concept-development abilities
* Ability to translate brand messages into engaging visual solutions
* Innovative problem-solving with attention to detail
* Ability to design for various formats and media types (print, digital, video)
* Strong skills in digital illustration, layout design, and visual communication
* Ability to create motion graphics, animations, and video content
* Competency in preparing production-ready artwork and specifications
* Understanding of typography, colour theory, branding, and composition
* Competency in creating digital content for web, social media, and marketing platforms
* Ability to develop storyboards, mock-ups, and visual concepts
Working Arrangements
* Work Type: Full-time & Permanent
* Working hours: 38 hours per week, 8 hours shift
* Shifts: From Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm
* Salary: $80,000 per year plus superannuation
