The Role
This role will lead the business through its next phase of development, with a clear mandate to improve profitability, streamline systems, and reshape internal processes. With oversight across finance, marketing, operations (via the Operations Manager), HR, and commercial strategy, you will:
* Take full ownership of financial performance and business strategy
* Drive cultural change and performance accountability across the team
* Implement system improvements, cost controls, and efficiencies
* Oversee marketing function and branding initiatives
* Manage HR processes, staff development, and compliance
* Collaborate with the Director group and external stakeholders
* Provide monthly financial and operational reporting
About You
You are a commercially astute leader with proven success in driving operational and cultural transformation. With strong financial acumen and a firm leadership style, you excel at identifying inefficiencies, building cohesive teams, and embedding systems that support scalable growth.
You also bring:
* Senior leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, or agriculture
* High-level capability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Track record in managing resistance to change and leading team realignment
* Working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and HR processes
* Experience with marketing oversight and systems implementation
* Desirable: exposure to NetSuite ERP or similar platforms
