About the Role
Markwell Fisheries is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Administration / Accounts team member to join our business. This role is well suited to someone who can work independently, take ownership of tasks, and manage their time effectively.
The position will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role following a 6-month training period, based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
• Independently manage entry of supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payments into Xero
• Carry out account reconciliations with minimal supervision
• Monitor outstanding invoices and manage accounts receivable and payable processes
Office Administration
• Handle general administrative and office duties autonomously
• Maintain accurate data entry and record keeping
• Answer incoming calls and respond to enquiries in a professional manner

Qualifications & Experience
• Previous experience in an administration or accounts role
• Experience using Xero (preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organisational skills
