With a growing pipeline of work, they are seeking a Principal Consultant to lead client engagements, contribute to continued business growth and build a team.
The Role
As a Principal Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering advisory services across defence infrastructure programs, supporting estates planning, program structuring, and delivery strategy. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide insights across scheduling, program management, and risk, ensuring projects and portfolios are set up for successful delivery.
Alongside project delivery, you will take an active role in business development—identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to winning new work. You will also support and mentor junior consultants, helping to build capability within the team and drive consistent delivery standards.
What You Need
You will bring strong experience across infrastructure or defence environments, with a deep understanding of program delivery, scheduling, and risk management on large-scale projects. Experience working within estates, planning, or complex infrastructure portfolios will be highly regarded.
A key requirement for this role is the ability to contribute to business development and win work, supported by strong stakeholder relationships and commercial awareness. You will be confident engaging with senior clients, leading discussions, and positioning solutions in a consulting environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a background in engineering, construction, project management, or a related discipline.
