A leading provider of culturally appropriate residential and community aged care is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to lead their organisation into growth and innovation.
The CEO will report directly to the Chairman of the Board and be instrumental in navigating a dynamic industry and government reform agenda. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sydney.

The Chief Executive Officer will provide inspirational and values-driven leadership, focusing on achieving strategic goals and long-term sustainability. Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Leadership: Initiating and implementing long-term strategic plans, risk management, and investment strategies.
* Organisational Leadership: Translating strategic plans into actionable business plans with clear KPIs.
* Financial Leadership: Working with the CFO, you will identify opportunities to enhance service revenue, ensuring financial compliance, and analysing situations to ensure company survival and growth.
* Public Representation: Acting as a primary ambassador for the organisation, enhancing relationships with government bodies, community leaders, and media. You will also oversee fundraising, advocacy, branding, and marketing initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A strong understanding of the Australian aged care sector, including funding and reform processes.
* Appreciation for the unique needs of older Australians from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Health, or a similar relevant field.
* Extensive experience at CEO or near-CEO level, preferably within the for-purpose sector.
* Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
* Strong ethical standards, unquestionable integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with Boards.
* Fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin is essential.
* Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
* A current driver's licence.
