Position: Village Manager Allrounder Kalgoorlie
Location: Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia
Employment Type: Hourly Rates and Penalties, Casual 2:1 or Local
Roster: 2 weeks on, 1 week off - FIFO out of Perth - Local Kalgoorlie candidates are encouraged to apply also
Remuneration: All Hours and Overtime Paid, Casual Rates
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Village Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 40 room town based worker accommodation site. This village is close to amenities and airport with an established small yet solid local and FIFO workforce. This role is ideal for someone with proven managerial experience in mine site or regional accommodation management. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of leading by example, excellent training and mentoring skills, ability to communicate effectively with clients and company management, a real focus on the safety of our guests and team, all while ensuring smooth and profitable operation across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* This is a Hands On Role, working within Admin, Housekeeping and Dinning room.
* Manage and support the Drummond team, including housekeeping, cleaning, and kitchen staff.
* Conduct and maintain daily audits across all operational areas to ensure standards are maintained.
* Manage village operations and all administrative daily tasks.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef and Operations Manager of the company to maintain service excellence, scope adherence and client satisfaction.
* Attend weekly operational meetings and ensure accurate reporting.
* Train, mentor, and supervise staff, ensuring all daily tasks are completed efficiently.
* Site rostering & man power monitoring
* Assist Head Office with recruitment specific to your site
* Conduct performance reviews at required intervals
Essential Requirements:
* Proven managerial experience in a similar role within the industry.
* Demonstrated management experience minimum 2 years.
* Ability to train and manage staff effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure completion of daily tasks.
* Full Western Australian driver's license.
* Current Police Check and LAB DAS certification.
* First Aid Certificate
* Food Safety Supervisor Course
* Available to start within 4 weeks .
