An opportunity for a Safety, Health & Training Advisor is now on offer to join a newly established team for an open cut mine near Moranbah offering an 8/6 roster either FIFO or DIDO.
About the role:Reporting to the HST Superintendent, you will have the opportunity to work in a team with a leadership team who is not only experienced, but committed to developing their team. Taking accountability for site safety systems as well as safety and compliance, reporting and hygiene activities on site, you will get involved and facilitate risk assessments, audits and training to make a difference for the site team, through relevant and meaningful training.
In addition, you will get the opportunity to work as part of a team that is embarking on a safety improvement journey that will build your career for the future.
About you:Having worked in coal mining in Safety, Health and/or Training, you are passionate about supporting site activities and the team, and building a safe culture through a supportive and coaching style. Your experience is underpinned by relevant qualifications and your demonstrated track record ensuring you meet compliance obligations through your stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. Your ability to manage multiple competing priorities will see you well placed to succeed.
