You will be a key leader in a team of highly experienced and talented Employee Relations professionals. This is a permanent full time role, location flexible.Key responsibilitiesPartner with colleagues across our LWB to implement, monitor and manage systems, processes, policies and tools directed at systematic and efficient implementation of legal and industrial requirements.Represent LWB in the Fair Work Commission and other employment tribunals.Interpret and advise on the application of workplace laws, modern awards and industrial agreements.Proactively monitor for legislative and industrial instrument developments and provide practical advice regarding implementation.Lead initiatives and projects to ensure the continuous improvement of our compliance frameworksSkills & ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualification in Law, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or similar.Extensive experience in Legal, Employee / Industrial Relations and/or Human Resources rolesAdvocacy experience in the Fair Work Commission and/or other employment tribunals.Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of industrial instruments, workplace legislation and case law to stakeholdersThe ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders internally and externallyExperience working in a fluid and changing environmentOpportunity to work in a highly experienced ER team and play an important role in shaping a new People and Culture functionOpportunity to make an impact in a sector that is motivated by a social purposeMonthly rostered days offJoin one of Australia’s leading social-purpose organisationsExcellent salary packaging benefits through MaxxiaSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.How to ApplyInclude your resume and covering letter in one document, click ‘Apply’ and follow the prompts.
