Since our humble beginnings on the Sunshine Coast in 2006, Black Cat Civil has now grown over 200 employees, 450 pieces of plant, and over 1800 completed projects, across sites in QLD, the NT, and beyond.
The Opportunity
Black Cat Civil have opportunities for several Indigenous Civil Plant Operators to join our projects teams in the central Queensland (Emerald/Capalaba region) on a 7/7 roster. These roles will commence August 2025.
We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced candidates with these skills:
All-round/Multi-Skilled Civil Plant Operators
Articulated Dump Truck Operators
Desired skills & experience:
These opportunities have been identified as key Indigenous Roles and as such will be filled by Indigenous Australians. We are seeking civil experienced operators keen for long-term work for a growing contractor.
Previous experience working on infrastructure projects including roads and highways, mining, and quarries.
Articulated Dump Truck RII highly regarded
HR Licence or above highly regarded
Trimble GPS experience highly regarded.
Current tickets and licenses (RII qualification)
Coal spec requirements highly regarded: Current Coal Medical & Standard 11
