Marketing Communications Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist plays a vital role in shaping and sharing the story of Kildare Catholic College, ensuring that our values, culture, and achievements are celebrated both within our school community and beyond.

This involves developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to enhance brand identity and community engagement, as well as crafting compelling narratives that showcase an organisation's strengths and achievements through multiple platforms, including digital, social media, and print.

To achieve this, the Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing websites and content, social media platforms, and digital marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of audience engagement strategies and brand consistency.

In addition, the Marketing Communications Specialist will build and maintain relationships with media outlets, draft press releases, and manage media opportunities to positively position the College within the broader community.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and respect for the College's Catholic identity, values, and ethos, with the ability to authentically represent and promote the school's culture and heritage.

A minimum of three years experience in marketing, communications, or public relations is required, along with strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across multiple platforms.

Experience managing websites and content, social media platforms, and digital marketing campaigns is also essential, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, draft press releases, and manage media opportunities.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams are also required, as is the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
