**About the position**
Commencing in January 2025, for a period of **two years**, we are looking for a **Trainee Library Branch Officer **to join our organisation.
In this role you will assist in the day-to-day operations of Muswellbrook Library; and assist in the provision and promotion of quality customer focused programming and services, whilst simultaneously gaining a Certificate III in Library and Information Services.
This entry level position provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience at Council's Muswellbrook Library.

**About you**- Higher School Certificate or equivalent.-
- Current Drivers Licence (minimum NSW Provisional P1 Licence or equivalent).-
- A valid and current Working with Children Check.-
- A commitment to learn new skills and complete formal qualifications.-
- Sound comprehension and numeracy skills.-
- The ability to follow directions and work with mínimal supervision as required.-
- Sound communication skills.-
- Proven team player qualities.-
- Demonstrated key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in the Position Description).**We offer**
