Regional Operations Lead
The Regional Operations Lead plays a crucial role in driving business outcomes, financial sustainability, and growth within the area.
This position is responsible for leading local operations, ensuring that young people receive high-quality care and support. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, operational planning skills, and relevant qualifications in Youth Work or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
* Negotiation: Secure funding for Safe Places business activities through effective negotiation and partnership-building.
* Placement Management: Oversee the placement process, ensuring that young people receive high-quality care and support.
* Property and Asset Management: Manage the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of property and assets to optimize business performance.
* Area Planning and Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
* Risk and Compliance Management: Ensure that all aspects of business operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
* Leadership Capability: Demonstrate values-driven leadership, supporting young people by leading local operations.
* Operational Planning: Plan and manage operational activities to ensure continuous improvement.
* Relevant Qualification: Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a Youth Work related field (e.g., Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Community Work, Child Protection etc.).
* Quality Systems Experience: Have an in-depth understanding of quality systems in a residential youth service, gained through significant quality services experience.
* Technical Skills: Possess the ability to use MS suite and learn other programs.
* Driver's Licence: Hold a valid QLD driver's licence.
