About the Roles
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics / Technicians to join our team.
We have two opportunities available:
* Workshop-Based Mechanic – Kembla Grange
* Workshop / Field Service Technician – 50/50 workshop & site-based work (service/lube truck)

About the Role
Workshop Mechanic
* Repairs, maintenance, rebuilds and refurbishment of heavy plant equipment
* Fault finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
* Working on fleet, resale equipment and third-party client machinery
* Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards
Workshop / Field Service Technician
* Repairs, maintenance, rebuilds and refurbishment of heavy plant equipment
* Operating a service/lube truck across Greater Sydney and regional NSW (including Bathurst & Singleton)
* Preventative maintenance, servicing and minor repairs in the field
* Breakdown support and diagnostics
* Stock control and service reporting
* Combination of workshop and on-site work
Key Responsibilities (Both Roles)
* Maintenance and repair of heavy plant and equipment
* Fault finding and diagnostics
* Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety requirements
* Accurate record keeping of work performed, parts and time
* Work collaboratively with the team to prioritise repairs and maintenance
About You
* Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) – Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working on heavy plant equipment
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
* Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* MR Licence (required for field role)
* Forklift Licence & White Card (desirable)
* Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel and work away occasionally (field role)
