We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support accountants and the practice manager with day-to-day financial and administrative operations for a growing accounting practice based in the Joondalup area. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a professional accounting environment. About the Role You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting tax compliance activities, and assisting with general office administration to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Key Responsibilities End-to-end bookkeeping including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance Processing invoices, receipts, and expense claims in a timely manner Maintaining accurate client and company records Preparing financial reports including P&L, balance sheets and cash flow statements Assisting with BAS, GST, IAS and other statutory obligations Supporting accountants with tax return preparation and lodgement documentation Managing general office administration, filing, correspondence and client appointments Responding to client queries professionally and maintaining confidentiality at all times About You Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping (or equivalent) Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping, ideally within an accounting practice Strong understanding of Australian GST and tax compliance Highly organised with strong attention to detail Professional communication skills and a client-focused approach What's On Offer Flexible full-time or part-time hours Supportive and professional team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Convenient location If you’re a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper who enjoys working in a collaborative accounting practice, apply now or contact me on ldaniels@fourquarters.com.au
