The Opportunity:
Join our team We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Pyrmont.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting customers with daily living tasks to promote independence and holistic well-being
* Assisting with hygiene and personal care
* Supporting activities outside the home, including assistance and chaperoning
* Helping with medication management, including dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance and preparation
Available shifts:
* Mondays 6:45-10:30 am
* Tuesdays 6:45-10:30 am
* Fridays 6:45-10:30 am
* Sundays 6:45-10:30 am
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
* A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
* At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS clearance, First Aid (valid for 3 years), CPR (valid for 12 months), and police clearance, or willingness to obtain these
