We are Australia's largest and oldest Student Union, right at the heart of the University of Sydney campus. We are the primary provider of food, coffee and events on campus, operating a wide range of cafés and quick service venues, including our own Food Truck and Coffee Van. Who You Are
You're a confident hospitality or events professional who enjoys being hands‐on and part of the action. You're comfortable leading teams, making decisions on the go, and keeping things running smoothly in a fast‐paced environment. You take ownership on event day and are confident coordinating people, managing client expectations, and resolving issues as they arise. You're practical, calm under pressure, and focused on delivering a great experience from start to finish.
In This Role, You Will
* Lead event setup, delivery and pack‐down.
* Act as main on‐site contact for clients.
* Coordinate staffing and support a casual team.
* Work closely with Sales, Kitchen and Operations.
* Ensure smooth delivery and strong service standards.
This role follows a rotating roster aligned with event delivery, including some evenings and weekends.
Essential Skills
* 3–5+ years' experience in hospitality or events.
* Strong client‐facing communication skills.
* Proven ability to lead teams in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience delivering events or functions end‐to‐end.
* Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
* Current RSA (or willingness to obtain).
* Current NSW provisional or above driver's licence.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with rostering, labour control or cost management.
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
* Experience in high‐volume or premium events.
* Stock control or inventory experience.

The Pay
$72,000 base salary per annum + 12% Superannuation.
Hours of Work
Full‐time, 38 hours per week, rostered across 7 days in line with business requirements.
Start Date
Immediate Start.
