Location: APAC Finance Team located in Mount Waverley, Melbourne – on site.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
* Provide strong commercial and financial decision support to the SEA and HKTW SU team, ensuring financial discipline in business decisions and overall responsibility for FP&A, and work with Leica Microsystems (LMS) Shared Services to deliver objectives in Internal Controls, Tax, Accounting and GL.
* Formulate the Service Level Agreement with Leica Microsystems and drive fulfilment of the service level by the Shared Service.
* Lead financial analyses, forecasting and planning, and streamline monthly, quarterly and yearly processes to ensure accurate P/L reporting and forecasting, and drive adoption of standardized reporting, analytics and data management.
* Coordinate and lead the following financial business processes for the SEA & HKTW SU – annual business plan/forecasting; financial reporting, strategic planning, quarterly updates and latest thinking, monthly flash & sales forecast & mid‑month reviews, weekly sales forecast calls, funnel management, etc.
* Lead the monthly closing activities (co‑ordinate with LMS Shared Service for financial accounting), including gathering inputs, performing data analytics, and preparing the management review deck (including PowerPoint decks).
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
* Minimum bachelor’s degree/ACCA (minimum 5 years of experience) with CPA, within the healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical industries.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Strong in internal controls and able to build standard works and process re‑engineering.
* Strong in business partnering and financial planning and analysis (for commercial operations).
* Experience managing and coordinating with a Shared Service Center (including understanding of compliance, tax, audit and financial accounting).
