Memory Matters is a growing private practice and invites applications from Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists seeking meaningful, well-supported work in a genuinely collegial environment.
Memory Matters offers specialist neuropsychological and psychological assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services across Melbourne and surrounding regions. We also have a highly experienced neuropsychiatrist on site. The Roles
* Minimum 3 days per week, flexible working days

* Caseloads thoughtfully matched to your interests and areas of expertise
* A hybrid role where you can see a mix of clients at the Memory Matters offices in Mitcham, in clients' homes, or via telehealth.
* A steady and diverse referral stream from in-house and external sources

Clinical Neuropsychologist
Paediatric Position
You will provide high-quality neuropsychological assessment, intervention, and consultation for children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of developmental, neurological, learning and mental health conditions. Referrals include:
* Neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. ADHD, autism, intellectual disability)
* Learning disorders
* Acquired brain injury, epilepsy and other neurological conditions
* School and educational planning and advocacy
You will work closely with families, schools, paediatricians, NDIS providers and other treating clinicians to support meaningful outcomes for children.
Adult Position
This role offers the opportunity to work with adults across a broad range of neuropsychological presentations, allowing you to develop both your assessment and intervention skills further.
You will be involved in:
* Comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, including but not limited to cognitive characterisation, capacity assessments, dementia and neurodegenerative conditions, brain injury diagnosis and recovery monitoring, NDIS access and review assessments, neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments, return-to-work and educational assessments, and rehabilitation planning.
* Providing intervention, cognitive rehabilitation, and psychological support to clients with neurological and neuropsychological conditions.
* Working closely with families, significant others, and support workers through counselling and education.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Clinical Psychologist
This role offers a diverse and engaging caseload, ensuring variety and ongoing professional interest. You can work with children, adults and older adults presenting with a wide range of psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and adjustment difficulties.
Highly Regarded Skills
* An interest in working with people with neuropsychological deficits secondary to brain injury or other neurological conditions
* A trauma-focused approach and EMDR training
* Skills in DBT and ACT
You will benefit from close collaboration with our neuropsychologists and in-house psychiatrist, providing opportunities for integrated care and shared learning.

Position Prerequisites
* Current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
* Approved Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology or Clinical Psychology
* Public liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
* Successful completion of a Police Check and Working with Children Check
* Driver's License and access to a motor vehicle (travel allowance provided)
