An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded lawyer to join a highly regarded and fast paced Commercial & Property practice in Melbourne. This role will suit a lawyer who enjoys variety, autonomy and genuine client engagement, and who is looking to move beyond siloed work into a broad transactional practice where no two days look the same. You will join a collaborative and high performing team working across a diverse range of commercial matters, including mergers & acquisitions, business sales and acquisitions, corporate structuring, leasing, commercial property transactions, licensing matters and ongoing strategic commercial advice to an established client base. This is a hands on role offering strong responsibility, direct client contact and exposure to high quality matters from day one. The Opportunity Working closely with an experienced and highly respected Director, you will be involved in a broad mix of work across: Commercial property transactions Leasing matters Sale and purchase of businesses Corporate and commercial advisory work Mergers & acquisitions Structuring and transactional matters General commercial drafting and negotiations The practice acts for a wide range of long standing commercial clients and values lawyers who can think commercially, communicate confidently and adapt quickly across varying matters and industries.
