Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Library Manager to provide a high-quality paediatric information service and resources to our staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding traditional and virtual library services and resources in a timely and curated fashion, while being cognisant of new and developing information technologies and services.
This includes:
* Providing a high quality paediatric information service and information resources to our staff.
* Maintenance and advancement of cooperative/networking arrangements with library partners locally, state-wide, nationally and internationally.
* Development of educational opportunities for our staff in the use of technology to gain access to information.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* An accredited undergraduate or postgraduate university course in librarianship and eligibility for professional membership of ALIA.
* Skills in library management, budgeting, staff management including team building and leadership and high level of computer literacy.
* Knowledge of trends and developments in Libraries especially in the area of information technology.
