To deliver premium administrative support to the Genera Manager and medical consultants, ensuring they can work efficiently and effectively by optimising schedules, maintaining accurate information, and maximising availability.
To facilitate the seamless fulfilment of client and medical consultant requests, ensuring consultant availability is effectively utilised in line with the Medical Engagement strategy and business objectives. To coordinate and provide high-quality, consultant-focused administrative support, enabling the delivery of independent medical assessments and expert advice to Lex Medicus team members, consultants, clients, and visitors.

Job Description
* Assist the GeneralManager with new consultant onboarding and governance matters as required, including induction and operational briefing.
* Assist the GeneralManager with consultant-related events.
* Respond to scheduling requirements and changes as necessary to maximise the booking rate of available consultant appointments.
* Proactively engage and follow up consultants to obtain and influence future appointment availability (target is 3 months in advance) in line with required targets.
* Submitting a summary monthly (EOM) to management for the future 3 months regarding utilisation, trends, consultant unavailability etc.
* Manage any special requests and send reminder notices to consultants for special appointments.
* Advise consultants of any changes to the scheduled availability.
* Provide specific consultants with weekly schedule summaries.
* Manage and fulfil any personal or special requests from the consultant.
* Assist with CV updates and ensure expert accreditations, training and information is kept up-to-date.
* Provide administrative support to the consultant(s) as necessary, to support the effective delivery of their services to Lex Medicus
* Inform consultants of upcoming legislative training if accreditations are not held.
* Manage the booking and scheduling of regional consulting rooms.
* Visit consultants working in their own consulting rooms as required.
* Liaise with MedHealth travel team and consultant to assist with any travel queries/bookings for out of office assessments.
* Chaperone as required.
* Scheduling & managing court attendances including, teleconferences and conclaves.
* Creating, Editing & Archiving schedules in Practice Manager as per consultant availability and required slots.
* Auditing of bookings (check with consultants 3 months in advance that all dates provided are still correct).
* Ensure off site clinic service delivery is effectively coordinated.
* Management of Consultant Portal queries, training and resource library;
* Ensure that facilities are suitable for expert needs;
* Identify risks and opportunities relating to service and schedules with experts;
* Build rapport with medical experts, identifying and assessing their needs to achieve satisfaction and retention
* Participation in regular business development updates and training as part of weekly team meetings;
* Promotion of Lex Medicus on LinkedIn & other platforms;
* Attending Lex Medicus seminars, functions and training days as required;
* Business development communications with consultants in line with medical engagement strategy and business objectives.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
* Consultant acumen to drive business growth, profitability, quality initiatives and marketing activities.
* Experience in medico legal, legal, insurance, IME or National Scheme related industries.
Specific Knowledge and Skills
* Consultant acumen to drive business growth, profitability, quality initiatives and marketing activities.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills; including an exceptional capacity to manage relationships with tact and diplomacy with our consultants.
* Legal, insurance or medical industry experience – highly regarded
* Outstanding organisational skills; including the ability to work accurately, with a high attention to detail.
* Strong team player
* Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate successful outcomes with consultants
