About The Role
The Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver (Gyprock) is a Full‐time position based at Garbutt Townsville, QLD. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join the Gyprock Trade Centre, delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
Your hours are Monday to Friday 6AM to 3PM.
In This Role You Will
* Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers.
* Assist in the day‐to‐day activities within the store.
* Perform stock movements and maintain stock.
* Load trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
* Unload inbound orders of stock.
* Serve customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g., loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
* Ensure documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
* Perform warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
About You
* Current forklift license with sufficient experience.
* Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
* A positive attitude and team‐oriented mindset in a fast‐paced environment.
* A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
* Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships.
